Welcome
Dear Brothers,
I hope this letter finds you and your families in good health and high spirits.
It has been some time since our Chapter last gathered with the energy, purpose, and camaraderie that have always defined AHEPA #479. Over the years, our chapter has stood as a proud pillar of Hellenism, philanthropy, and brotherhood within our community—but now, it’s time to reignite that spark.
Our heritage calls us to action not just to remember the ideals of AHEPA, but to live them. Faith, education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, and the promotion of Hellenic values are not just words on paper; they are the foundation upon which our chapter was built. These principles are needed now more than ever, both in our church and in the broader community we serve.
I am inviting each of you to rejoin your brothers in fellowship and action. Let’s rebuild our momentum, reconnect as a chapter, and continue the legacy that was entrusted to us. Your ideas, your presence, and your energy will determine the future of AHEPA #479.
I encourage you to bring your sons, cousins, nephews and friends as it is the young generation that will be taking the torch for us and even my son, George, has gotten heavily involved in our chapter.
We will be holding our monthly meetings on the first Sunday of every month, immediately following Divine Liturgy, at St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church. I encourage every member—past and present—to attend, share your thoughts, and help shape the next chapter of our chapter’s story.
Together, we can restore our presence, strengthen our bonds, and once again make a meaningful impact in our community. The strength of AHEPA has always been its members, and I have full faith that with renewed dedication, we can achieve great things.
Let us move forward with purpose and unity. I look forward to seeing each of you at our next meeting and working together to make AHEPA #479 a vibrant force once again.
With brotherly love,
Fraternally,
Kosta Sofikitis
Chapter President, AHEPA #479
